One Millionth Range Rover

1,000,000th Range Rover
The Range Rover has been with us since the 1970's. Since then, it's been proven to be one of the best off-roading SUVs of all time. Now, in it's 40th anniversary, the Range Rover entered a stage of prestige as its 1,000,000 copy rolled off the assembly line in Solihull, England. This was indeed a milestone for Land Rover. This car will be auctioned off starting at around £90,000 to raise money for Help for Heroes, a charity that helps the families of wounded service men. Before this Rover headed to the auction, however, it was given to a special man, who, undeniably, is the biggest Range Rover fan in the world.

1,000,000 Range Rover @ Top Gear Live
Land Rover presented the 1,000,000th Range Rover to Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson. Why not? He loves the Range Rover! To him, this would be the only car that you would ever need. He drove this history-making Range Rover at Top Gear Live last week and he was definitely pleased with it. Unbeknownst to anyone, Clarkson is a man of charity and he believes that auctioning off this car is for a good cause.
"Help for Heroes is just the most incredible success story. They do everything from building a swimming pool to completely changing the way wounded soldiers are viewed in this country and I'm very proud to support them. I feel like we've got a bit of history here." - Jeremy Clarkson
The dudes at Top Gear, along with Clarkson, love the Range Rover. I do to. This is certainly a history-making moment here. If you are in Britain, I encourage you to take place in the auction. You are serving a good community if you do.
