A police car designed by Gordon Murray

1997 McLaren F1 Police Interceptor
Many crazy NFS fans have wondered what a McLaren F1 would look like if it had a cop livery. Well, thanks to the dudes at Criterion Games, it would look like this. This upgraded F1 Police Interceptor is loaded with Police weapons like EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse), Spike Strips, Faster Nitrous, Police Siren, and Light-bar. Other than that, it's still a McLaren F1. You still sit slap bang in the middle for the ultimate racer, or cop, experience. You get 627 horsepower from a 6.0 liter BMW M Power V12 engine. You still accelerate from 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds and you still will hit a top speed of 240 MPH. So, this is a McLaren F1, just for municipal use. Unfortunately, the only way to see this cool cruiser is in Seacrest County, where they even have a Bugatti Veyron on the force. Luckily, if you pre-ordered Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, you will be able to drive this police car along with other awesome cars as the battle against Cops and Racers ignites this Tuesday. Stay tuned for my review of this game.
