Very Expensive Police Cars

2011 Aston Martin One-77 Speed Enforcer
Imagine a world where cop cars looked as cool as this. This is an Aston Martin One-77 that has undergone a police car makeover to make it one of the most expensive interceptors of all time. Fortunately, a world like this is coming in 3 days. That's right! Need For Speed Hot Pursuit will be here on Tuesday and if you're good at catching the racers, the SCPD (Seacrest County Police Department) will give you this as a "Good Work Officer!" present. Not only is the One-77 fast, its the most powerful naturally aspirated car in the world with a 7.0-liter 750 horsepower V12 engine tuned from the Aston DBS. It will do 0 to 60 in 3.2 seconds on its way to a top speed of 220 MPH. Only 77 of these Astons will be made (hence the name One-77), each of them costing $1.7 million, but only one of the them will look like this. This police interceptor comes equipped with all the weapons you need to take down the lawbreakers. It's hard to imagine police cars looking any better than this. Or can they?

2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP650-4 Polizia
Yes, they can! This is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia, which you can also drive in the game. Rumor has it that the Italian Police Department were surprised and very impressed by the work the SCPD has done to takedown racers. So, they contacted their friends at Lamborghini to make the same Gallardo LP560-4 that they have so that they can give it to them. It might have police badges and police equipment, but it's still a Lamborghini. It still has a 5.2-liter 552 horsepower V10 engine. It will still do 0 to 60 in 3.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 202 MPH. This is definitely a great car to drive and a great car to takedown speeders. As it turns out however, this particular police car is actually real and looks like this...

Actual 2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia

It's  a great looking thing.

It's used to catch those who tend to overdo it on italian freeways. It was a gift from Lamborghini to celebrate the Italian Police Department's 156th anniversary. So, when you unlock this car in NFS Hot Pursuit, you can tell yourself, "I'm actually driving an official police car, a good looking police car as well."
