2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento (Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit)
So, Armed & Dangerous came out yesterday and already people are having a blast playing cops & robbers all over Seacrest County. Well, to make things more exciting, Lamborghini have brought in three of their renowned cars to Seacrest in order to see what the racers and cops think of them. There's the classic Countach, the legendary Diablo, and this: the Sesto Elemento, which is no longer a concept car. Yes! You can actually buy this car for about $3 Million. But, why pay that much to drive the car in real life than pay just $6.99 to drift with the car in Seacrest County while outrunning cops. And it's not like the cops are left out either.

2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Interceptor
The car features the same 570 horsepower 5.2-liter V10 engine that you get in the Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera. But, the entire car, including the chassis, is made out of carbon fiber, bringing the weight to just 1 ton (1,000 kg). Because of this, 0 to 60 is done in a staggering 2.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 217 MPH. You can already guess what tier this car belongs in. Be sure to drive this car along with the other bulls in the Lamborghini Untamed DLC, which will be released March 1.

The Bull God has Arrived

2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4
This is as clear as it well get. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. As a replacement for the long gone Murcielago, this car has a lot of ground to cover if it wants to be known as a supercar great. It does have the potential though. Lamborghini's new 6.5-liter 690 horsepower V12 generates power to all four wheels, as usual. 0 to 60 is done in just 3.0 seconds on its way to a top speed of 217 MPH. With those numbers, this car might have what it takes. Let's find out in the weeks to come. It will make its official debut next week at Geneva.

Careful Lamborghini

2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 (Courtesy of WorldOfCarFans)
Lamborghini really needs to watch what they print if they don't want to reveal things too early. Anyway, what you are looking at here is a leaked image of the all new complete Lamborghini Aventador, the successor to the mighty Murcielago. Under the hood is Lamborghini's all new 7.0-liter 690 horsepower V12 engine. 0 to 60 is done in just 3.0 seconds on its way to a top speed of 217 MPH. At some angles, this car does look like a Gallardo, but as long as it has that V12 under the hood, it's no baby Lambo. Geneva starts next week. By that time, we'll be able to see the car for what it really is.

More Gallardo Goodness

2012 Lamborghini Gallardo Singapore Edition
It seems Lamborghini is still trying to tease us with multiple special editions of their baby Lambo, the Gallardo. Before it was the Tricolore Edition. Now, it's the new Singapore Edition, which is a Superleggera with special red stripes on each side of the car. Of course this model is only available in Singapore since they've been in line with Lamborghini for 10 years now. Only 10 of them have been made and all have been spoken for. The price of the car is somewhat larger than the original with $15,000 of the proceeds for each example going to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund to benefit underprivileged students. It's a brave thing to do, but honestly Lamborghini, can we see the Aventador now? Please?!?!

More DLC Madness

2010 Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss (Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit)
Well TDU 2 is out and everybody joining in. But, if you thought that the best racing of 2010 was done, well, think again. More DLCs have been confirmed for Need For Speed Hot Pursuit coming in the next few weeks. Next week, an all new DLC named Armed and Dangerous will be released. This brings in two new modes to the game including Most Wanted & Arms Race. In Most Wanted, it's classic cops and robbers with the cops chasing down the racers and the racers protecting the most wanted driver. In Arms Race, it's every man for himself as racer weapons will be activated along with them for use in a races. The week after that, Lamborghini Untamed will be released. This gives racers and cops an access to three new vehicles from, you guessed it, Lamborghini. First, there's the ever famous Lamborghini Diablo, which has been in the Need For Speed franchise since the beginning. Then there's the artistically designed Lamborghini Countach, which was known for being good looking, but with horrible handling. And finally, to put the icing on the cake, the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept Car will be available, which on record is the lightest Lamborghini ever built. The week after that, Porsche Unleashed is reborn in Seacrest County giving cops and racers access to three of Stuttgart's finest. First up, the classic 1982 911 Turbo. Then, there's the legendary Porsche 959, one of the best Porsches ever built. Finally, there's the ultra-exclusive 2011 Porsche 911 Speedster, commemorating the classic 550 Speedster from Porsche's very beginning. So, there's the layout for you. There will be new events and new achievements to unlock. Each DLC will be worth $6.99 and will be available for the PS3 and XBOX 360 only. Check out the video below to see the rundown.

Another Special Lambo

2012 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Bicolore
Once again, Lamborghini honors the awesomeness that is the Gallardo with another special edition. As you can see, this two-tone Bicolore is pretty much what it is: a two tone exotic car. Orange won't be the only color you'll have the base in though. There will also be blue, white, yellow, and grey. There's not much else different about it. It still has the 5.2-liter V10 producing 556 horsepower like the standard Gallardo. It still has the same top speed, 202 MPH, like the standard Gallardo. Let's just put it in simple terms: it is a standard Gallardo, only with a black roof. The cost will be no different either. But anyway, all we need to do now is wait for the real raging bull, the Aventador.

Fast with Four Doors

Audi A9 Rendering (Courtesy of AutoCar)
If you thought the Audi A7 was the pinnacle of Audi's four-door sports saloons, then you haven't heard what they're really up to. Rumors from Ingolstadt have it that Audi is working on a super-sports saloon called the A9 to take on the Porsche Panamera and the Aston Martin Rapide. Rumor also has it that they might be using some parts and chassis from another popular super 4-door: the Lamborghini Estoque. No word has been confirmed on whether this car will be in production, but expect to look rather dashing. You see, unlike Porsche that bases everything off the 911, Audi uses its own design and talent to shape their cars. For instance, take a look at the Audi A7.

2012 Audi A7
Doesn't that look pretty? People say that Audi based this car off the Panamera, but I don't think they did. And it's not just the front view.

Rear View
The rear view looks great as well. So, if Audi does bring the A9 into production, it will be a properly designed car, unlike the Panamera, which looks like an ugly elephant.

Happy 50!

2011 Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Concept
Not this year, but in 2013, rumor has it that Lamborghini is planning something special for its 50th Anniversary. Who knows? It might be the return of the mighty Murcielago. Maybe a special edition of the upcoming Aventador LP700-4 or the production version of this Sesto Elemento that you see above you. The only way to find out is to wait for two years. Sounds tiring, huh?

In Memoriam

Christmas is 4 days away, which also means the end of the year is upon us. Most of us will be making it to the new year, but, sadly some of us won't, and this include cars. So, as we celebrate Jesus' birth and the beginning of a new year, let us take some time to honor those we have lost.

2010 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Convertible
1. Dodge Viper SRT-10
We shall surely miss this venomous snake. It was one of the greatest American Supercars of all time, right behind the coveted Ford GT. No one will forget that aggressive front nose, that deadly 8.4-liter 600 horsepower V10 Viper engine, those many warning symbols on how this car could indeed kill you, and the immense speed this snake delivers. Even though a new one is planned for 2013, there will never be any new one that will be any better than this. This car will be missed.

2006 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
2. Lamborghini Murcielago
Ahh, the great raging bull, and this is her final year, as a new replacement has come for her. But, alas, no one will perfectly replace her though. That harmonious 6.5-liter V12 sound, the unbelievable grip coming from its patent-pended all-wheel drive system, the brilliance of her rear vents lifting up at high speeds; this car was literally a baby that has turned into an angel and has wiggled into our hearts. She will be missed.

2008 Audi RS6
3. Audi RS6 C6
Now, Audi has confirmed a new RS6 for this new A6 that has just come out, but I don't think it will be as crazy and fun-loving as this one. I mean, a Twin-Turbocharged V10 powered 580 horsepower station-wagon? That's crazy!! Leave it Audi to do that stuff. But, besides the craziness, this wagon did handle like a supercar and was very good in the snow. It will be missed.

2010 Pontiac G8 GT
4. Pontiac G8
Pontiac has been with us since the 1920's and they've produced great muscle cars ever since. But the one that came close to our hearts is this one: the mighty G8. It's Australian cousin, the Holden Commodore, has claimed more Bathurst races than any GM ever made. It's British relative, the Vauxhall VXR8, has become a prized possession to The Stig for being his portable drifting machine. Here, it's been hailed as a muscle car done right. The handling was phenomenal, the power was raging, the ride was excitement. It's made us laugh, it's made us cry. It will be deeply missed.

I hope you took your time to look over this list. Be sure to pay tribute to these great ones. They've se an example for all of us.

TDU2's Getting Embarrasing

TDU 2 Boxshot
So, if you're really excited about this racing/life game, don't be. I thought it would be good at first, but as it's turning out now, it might not be the game your looking for. First off, the car list was revealed a couple days ago. Now I don't know if that's the actual official car list, but there was an unbelievable lack of Lamborghini on the list, even though about 9 Lamborghinis were on the list in the last installment. I am excited about my Range Rover Sport, a couple of Bugattis, and some Ferraris making an appearance in the game, but it would've been better to see Lamborghini and Ferrari in the game since they're the main rivals in any racing game. Also, I don't know what they're doing, but nothing new has been happening in the beta. I honestly think that they're thinking the game is hopeless and have stopped it all together. Not fair for you guys cuz now, I can't give you any new information and gameplay videos on this game. So, if you're looking for a game with both Lamborghinis and Ferraris and realistic physics and features, there's only one game now with all of that: Gran Turismo 5!

The Specs are Out

Lamborghini Jota/Aventador (Courtesy of TeamSpeed.com)
Jota or Aventador, Lamborghini's newest V12 monster, the LP700-4 is letting all its secrets out. Based off a secret pre-order page on the Lamborghini website, the car will have as much as 690 horsepower in it's new 6.5-liter V12 engine that is connected to an all new 7-speed ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) gearbox, which is supposed to be lighter and shift much quicker than a regular dual-clutch. Other secrets include the car doing 0 to 60 in less than 3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 217 MPH. This will be on quick raging bull. It's also a little lighter with a weight measure of 3,472 lbs. There's a lot of stuff about this car that I can't go into, so I'll just leave some pics here for you.

Shift is a Go!

2007 Nissan Silvia (S15) Spec.R Aero
Shift 2 Unleashed from Need For Speed is already turning heads. With an array of fast cars and realistic physics, this game could be another Gran Turismo killer. A limited edition of the game has already been confirmed with an exclusive boxshot with a yellow, not red, custom Maserati. Also, if you pre-order the game, EA will give you three cars before everyone else earns them: the Nissan Silvia (S15) Spec.R Aero (seen above),

2009 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640
The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640,

2009 Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV
and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV.

No word yet on the official car list of this game, but EA says this game will be just as great as the award winning Hot Pursuit. Let's see if they're right. The game launches in March of next year.

Mystery Bull

Teaser Shot
Remember my teaser? I mentioned that it's not from the game that you thought it was. No, it's not from Gran Turismo 5, but honestly I wish it was in GT5. It's actually from a game that I haven't picked up in a while and involves us doing something on YouTube to get it. So, what is this car?

It's the 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster!

This car is honestly one of my favorite cars out of the Super Sports Pack. By the way, the other three cars from Bugatti, Porsche, and Gumpert, will be here next Tuesday. Anyway, I did pay tribute to the mighty Murcielago, but NFS thought it wasn't enough. So, they released this exclusive roadster into the wild. In real life, they only made about 50 of these, each one no different than the other. Other than the special orange underlay which made it look like a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, it is somewhat lighter but definitely more powerful than a standard Murcielago Roadster. That old 6.5-liter V12 engine now produces 650 horsepower, about as much as the ultra-exclusive Reventon. 0 to 60 is reached in 3.4 seconds on its way to a top speed of 205 MPH.

Such Grace
There's just something about this car that makes me so tearful; the fact that there will never be a Lamborghini as great as this one. Those rear vents that lift up after speeding at 160 MPH just make the car look so much cooler and perform so much better than usual. The all-wheel drive system is so stabile and has a lot of grip, especially in the corners. This car is a mental and a very good piece of work. I'm glad we were able to get it.

Racing Past Traffic
This car is indeed one of the best Lamborghini's I've ever driven in this game. It just looks so graceful and performs gracefully as well. What I love best about this car is the harmonious concierto that is delivered from that handcrafted V12 engine through the trapezoidal exhaust. It's just astonishing. Honestly, if there were any of these cars left on sale right now, I would buy one and drive one in real life. But, alas, I'm stuck driving it in Seacrest County. But, hey, better here than nothing, right?

Night Roadster
If you haven't gotten this car yet, what are you waiting for? Update the game, go straight to Freeride, scroll down to the exotics page, and you'll find this Raging Bull waiting for you to test drive her. You will be blown away when you drive it. It's just brilliant
