The Dark Side of VW

2012 VW Passat & Darth Max
Apparently, Darth Vader had another kid that we didn't know about. Anyway, a family adopted him, named him Max, and now he thinks he's just as good as his father. Ha ha, I'm kidding! If you were watching the Super Bowl on Sunday, you might have stumbled upon this ad, which has been hailed the best ad of the game. Basically, Darth Max thought he had the powers of the force when he stumbled upon dad's new VW Passat. Find out how he managed to turn his dad's car on in the video below. By the way, the kid's real name is Max Page and he was on the Today Show yesterday.

This is Motor City

2011 Chrysler 200
"If you had one shot, or one opportunity, to cease everything that you ever wanted in one moment, would you capture it, or just let it slip?" Most of you music fans know who said this. What's really iconic was that he made a Super Bowl commercial in his home state with this car. If you were watching the Super Bowl yesterday, you should've seen a commercial featuring snippets of what was and is Motor City, USA, which is Detroit, Michigan. You also should've seen this car been driven around the city by Eminem. This was by far the best Super Bowl commercial I've ever seen, and it's my video of the week. Why? 1. It outlines Chrysler's big comeback to bringing the best in luxury. 2. It proves that in America, we can do just about anything. 3. It has Eminem in it. What would've made this commercial much better is if he was driving the new 300. But, it doesn't matter. Chrysler's back and better than ever. They took the shot, and now they're back in the game. If you haven't seen the commercial, see it here.

Green & Yellow & Red & Camaro

2012 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible
So, if you weren't watching the Super Bowl today or decided to save power from whatever you were doing, the Green Bay Packers managed to defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31 - 25. Aaron Rodgers, Packers Quarterback, was named MVP for his excellent work with his team. As MVP, GM gave him a championship gift: this 2012 Camaro SS Convertible. The numbers: 426 horsepower, 0 to 60 in less than 5.0 seconds, top speed: 155 MPH. This is definitely a trophy worthy of a winner. Enjoy Aaron!

Some Welcoming Party

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster (Rendering)
Apparently, all of the popular Mercedes-Benz cars have magically rolled their way to Stuttgart, Germany to welcome four new Silver Arrows to the family of Mercedes-Benz. Hopefully mine made it back home before I get up tomorrow. One of the newcomers was this SLS AMG Roadster. This is just a rendering. The real thing was unveiled in this Super Bowl commercial. The other three you've probably seen. Check out the commercial below.

MVP Camaro

2011 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible
So, the game has been set. The two best teams in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers & the Green Bay Packers, have moved on to Super Bowl XLV. On February 6th in the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, watch closely as these two titanic teams collide in a quest to take home the Vince Lombardi trophy. However, this year, the trophy and a Championship ring won't be the only things that will go home with the Most Valuable Player. Every year, GM award the MVP with a special car whether it be Cadillac Escalade Hybrid or a Cadillac SRX. This year, GM's giving away some muscle: the 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible. So, whether it be Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers, or some other player from either team, whoever is named MVP is going home with a hot set of wheels.
