Super Jag

2011 Jaguar XJ Sentinel
It seems that rich people are turning to armored cars for protection from thugs or terrorists. Luckily, Jaguar has joined the fray with their new XJ. They call it the Sentinel and even though it looks like a regular XJ, it has put on a lot of weight. It now weighs 7,275 lbs. That's over 3,000 lbs. more than its original weight. You won't be going very fast either. The original XJ with its 385 horsepower 5.0-liter V8 engine hit 60 from 0 in 5.4 seconds. The Sentinel does it in 9.7 seconds. It will still reach its top speed which is 121 MPH, but it will take a while to get there. Speed won't be important anyway. What is important is if this car can withstand anything the bad guys throw at it, and it can. Thanks to all that discreet Armor Plating, the XJ Sentinel can withstand 15kg of TNT explosives, B7 level explosives, and under floor grenade explosives. The windows are bulletproof so it can withstand machine-gun fire. The wheels are 19-inch Aleutian Alloy wheels which are much stronger than regular alloys. The car also features high-performance brakes, run-flat tires, full-restraint system, dual-stage driver and passenger front and side thoracic airbags, and side curtain airbags. So basically, what Jaguar has done is they've created a Tank with Luxury and Prestige. Prices start at over $100,000, making it available to very reach people or very important diplomats.
