Welcome back old friend

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Edition
This year, we had to say goodbye to a serious German monster, the SLR McLaren, which made room for the all new SLS AMG. But, when we thought this Supercar was gone, the Essen Motor Show (Germany's version of SEMA) helped McLaren and Mercedes unveil it's comeback. This is the all new 2012 Mercedes SLR McLaren Edition. It still has its old shape and some of the old features, but it now has a new bodykit, an updated 5.4-liter 620 horsepower Supercharged V8 engine,  new steering, and some suspension upgrades. During it's time with us, the SLR was classified as "Hypercar Royalty". It was the fastest car with an automatic transmission with a 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 208 MPH. It was one of the first Supercars with a push-button start engine. It was also one of the first with an airbrake located in the rear as a spoiler. Now that the car has come back, it still looks great. Pricing has not been announced yet, but this car will be in limited numbers: 25 to be exact. I hope you have a big enough wallet to buy this car though, because the original was over $500,000.
