Australian Muscle

2011 Vauxhall VXR8
Christmas is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate this holiday than with a muscle car from Australia. This is the all new 2011 Vauxhall VXR8. As you can see, this car does receive some futuristic new looks including awesome 19-inch rims and front LED daytime running lights, but other than that, it's still you're regular VXR8. This car shares the same chassis of Australia's Holden Commodore, America's Pontiac G8 GXP, and America's Chevy Camaro SS. Under the hood is an upgraded 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 425 horsepower which is connected to a 6-speed (automatic or manual) transmission. Thanks to it's all new Magnetic Ride Control and new Launch Control Systems, this car will do 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds on its way to a limited top speed of 155 MPH. The base model of the all new VXR8 is now this new E3 GTS that is also sold in Australia. This car has received praised from across the world, even in Top Gear. Clarkson loved this car for its comfortableness and sure driving excitement. The Stig even owns one and uses it as his portable drifting machine. There are many reasons why we want this car on our shores, but for now, it's stuck in Europe and Australia. But, hope is at hand. The Chevy version of this car has been confirmed and will hit showrooms in a couple of years.
