Italian Track Screamer

2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge
If you thought the 458 Italia was great, well take a look at this. This all new 2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge made it's official debut at the Bologna Motor Show in Bologna, Italy. Think of it as a Ferrari 458 with a roll cage, racing wheel, racing suspension, racing chassis, racing everything. It is still powered by the same 4.5-liter 562 horsepower V8 that you get in the road car, but it's much lighter and more nimble than it. They gave it 19-inch Mesh Wheels, Pirelli Racing Tires, and even Brembo brakes from the Nürburgring track screamer, the 599XX. They also put in an new traction control system known as F1-trac with settings for wet and dry conditions. Put all this together, and you've got the fastest car to ever go round the Fiorano track with a time of 1 minute and 16 seconds. I wonder how fast this thing will go round the Top Gear Test Track? We'll find that out later. But, for now, this car will only be available for challenge events. Ferrari will let you buy one only if you're a serious racer.
