The Top Gear Awards

2011 Citroën DS3
This Citroën has already gained fame as Top Gear Car of the Year and Small Car of the Year, but truth be told, there are other awards Top Gear gave out.

2011 Koenigsegg Agera
The Koenigsegg Agera is the Top Gear Hypercar of the Year. Why? Even though it's a hungry lion with a Twin-Supercharged 910 horsepower V8 engine, Top Gear found the car to be very sophisticated then what we expected it to be.

2010 Maserati GranCabrio
The Maserati GranCabrio is the Top Gear Cabrio of the Year. Why? It's a Maserati. It's sexy, seductive, familiar, and a very good grand tourer.

Speaking of grand tourers...

2011 Bentley Continental GT
This Bentley Continental GT is the Top Gear Grand Tourer of the year for its sports performance combined with high-class drinks-globe luxury. It's something only the sophisticated would achieve.

2010 VW Golf R
This small, but powerful VW Golf R is the Top Gear Hot Hatch of the Year, because it was good at a lot of things that they really couldn't get into.

2011 BMW 520d Touring
This rather stunning BMW 520d Touring is the Top Gear Family Car of the Year. It just has so much to offer, and all of it is genius.

Fiat TwinAir Engine
The Fiat TwinAir Engine is the Top Gear Engine of the Year. They say it has a "bundle of energy" that keeps our old friend the petrol engine alive.

2011 Peugeot RCZ
This rather stylish Peugeot coupe is the Top Gear Coupe of the Year. They say that it does things that normal small hot cars are incapable of doing.

2011 Jaguar XJ
This brilliant Jag is the Top Gear Luxury of the Year. It combines the essence of "XJ" with technology from the future to create a blend of high-end technological luxury only Top Gear would love. And, most importantly, it's a Jaaaaag!

2010 Pagani Zonda R with Clarkson (Courtesy of Top Gear)
This track-screaming Pagani Zonda R is Jeremy's Car of the Year.

"When your head is pinned into the headrest and your ears are bleeding and you're frightened by the speed and the savagery and the thrill of it all... who cares if you can't take it shopping in the drizzle?" - Jeremy Clarkson
It's a savage record-breaking car that only Clarkson would love.

2011 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport
The fastest car in the world is the slowest man in the world (James May's) Car of the Year.

"If you can drive, you can drive the Bugatti. It appears to be a glorious irrelevance, but in fact it couldn't be more pertinent." - James May
This is sort of ironic, since he loves being slow. And yet, he sped at over 258 MPH in this slimmed-down hypercar.

2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS
Finally, this crazy, powerful Porsche is Richard's Car of the Year.

"Insane, blindingly fast, flamboyant and it goes against everything I've ever said about the 911. Which makes me look like a bit of a monkey." - Richard Hammond
First off, it's the craziest Porsche on the planet. Second, it's a 911. No one else on Top Gear loves that car more than Richard Hammond.

So, there's the list of winners. You can see more pics and info on all of these at the Top Gear website and the new magazine in shelves today.
