There are a lot of reasons why we buy cars. The thing is, the type of car we buy indicates why we buy one. If you're a construction worker, your car of choice would be a heavy duty truck because it's tough, powerful, and rugged. If you're a movie star, you'd buy a Dodge Viper because it's fast, discrete, and very movie-starrish. The list continues from there, but I think you see the point. However, men buy cars for more reasons than you think. Not only do we want a car that's fast, and looks good, we want a car that's attractive to women. There are a lot of cool and fast cars out there, but only a few that can satisfy a women's taste. Luckily, I'm here to help. Here's a list of cars that women will love.

2011 Ford Mustang GT

Girls love a pony car. This has been hailed as one of the best, not only for its looks, but, for its performance. This new 'Stang has an updated 5.0-liter Ti-VCT (twin independent variable camshaft timing) V8 engine producing 412 horsepower. With a 0 to 60 time of 4.3 seconds, this car will hit a limited top speed of 155 MPH. It's certainly a fast car, and a lot of girls love fast cars. There are also some eco-mentalist females out there that will be fond of this car as well. It might be powered by a big V8 engine, but thanks to its weight and new technologies, the Mustang GT has an EPA estimated 26 MPG. So it saves a lot of gas, which is good for your walet, the earth, and your eco-mentalist girlfriend. The price of all this: just a smudge under $30,000. This is actually good value, because this car's closest rival is the German-bred BMW M3 E92, which costs almost $40,000 more!

There is some prejudice against this car. Most girls believe that Cadillac is a manufacturer for old people or idiots who put dubbed out rims on anything, so they avoid that crowd. Luckily, they'll come crawling back if they see you driving this. Don't let the front crown fool you. This is no ordinary Caddy. This is a massive, supercharged Caddy. Under the hood is a 6.2-liter supercharged LSA V8 engine producing 556 horsepower. With a 0 to 60 time of 3.9 seconds, with a 6-speed manual transmission, this car will hit a top speed of 191 MPH. With a 6-speed automatic, this car will hit 179 MPH. Any way or another, this is the fastest production sedan in the world. Girls love fast cars, and this is ideally a very fast sedan. Even though it's very fast and aggressive, it's still luxurious, well, since it's a Cadillac, of course. There are lot of luxurious amenities including a walnut center console, leather heated seats, luxury cruise control, even a luxurious analog clock placed in the middle of the center console. Girls love that. The price for all this speed, power, and luxury: $63,465, which is expensive. But, compared to any other car in its rear view mirror, this is actually good value.

2011 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

You don't know how many girls love this muscle car, especially with the top down. The all new Grand Sport is a looker; gorgeous and aggressive at the same time. Under the hood is a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 430 horsepower. 60 MPH is achieved from 0 MPH in 3.9 seconds with a top speed of 192 MPH. It's also very good with gas as it gets an EPA estimated 21 MPG. This car is also very good at going sideways, if you're willing to impress your girlfriend. There's nothing more I need to say about it, except that you can get it for about $58,000 and pay a little more to make it look like a Vette ZR1 as seen above. It's a Corvette. Girls love this car.

This is a movie star's car. If you've seen Iron Man 2, then you know what I'm talking about. What would attract a girl more than seeing you drive in a german exotic car with the top down that was once driven by Robert Downey Jr. Who knows? He could be her favorite actor. That's a double win for you. Anyway, under the hood, this car features a Lamborghini Gallardo 5.2-liter FSI 525 horsepower V10 engine. It will do 0 to 60 in 3.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 196 MPH. Girls will fall in love with the styling of this car and the immense top speed with the top down. You'll love it as you drive around the corners as it hugs them like a young girl hugs her teddy bear. Nonetheless, all this awesomeness comes at a price: $161,000 to be exact. But, it won't matter. What matters is that girls will love it and will love you when you're driving one.

2011 VW Golf GTI

5. VW Golf GTI
This is not a Ferrari. Its not a Lamborghini. Most importantly, its not an ugly Beetle. This is a Turbocharged, redesigned Golf. It might be a compact car, but its sporty styling and massive rims tell us that there's so much more when you put the hammer down. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter 200 horsepower 4-cylinder engine. Even though all the power is going to the front wheels, this car will reach 60 MPH from 0 in 6.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 130 MPH. Its not as fast as the other cars on this list, but you'll definitely have the advantage in the corners as this car handles them fairly well. You can surprise girls with the speed this hatchback can achieve, or by just persuading them on how this car actually looks good. It might not be the fastest, but it's definitely the cheapest. The car starts at $23,690, which is very good value for a very good looking Golf.

2011 Ferrari California

Now, this is a Ferrari. There isn't a girl on this earth that doesn't love one of these. First off, Ferrari is one of the most exclusive brands on the earth. There's a reason why these cars aren't in a lot of racing games. Ferrari's not fond of seeing their cars damaged. So they tend to keep their licenses exclusive to Simulation racing games like Forza Motorsport, Need For Speed: Shift (Xbox 360), Gran Turismo 5, and other worthy contenders. But anyway, the point is that girls love something exclusive; something that you have and that no one else has. This Ferrari is ideally one of them. It was sold out in 2010, but it's coming back in 2012 with more numbers. As for now, under the hood is a 4.3-liter 453 horsepower V8 engine. This car will hit 60 MPH in 4 seconds flat to a top speed of 193 MPH. What makes this car so special is that its the first Ferrari ever built with a V8 engine in the front, 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission, and metal folding roof. That's right! This is also a convertible.

It also has 4 seats so you can seat 3 other girls and head off on a grand tour of, let's say, Europe, or California (hehe). The price of all this: just a smudge under $200,000. Yes, it's expensive, but it's a Ferrari. Once you buy it, you'll see that it will be worth it. And besides, girls love the Prancing Horse.

2011 Aston Martin Rapide

I've talked about this particular car before. I said that despite it being slower than its closest rival, the Porsche Panamera Turbo, this Aston has the ups for looking much sexier than it. Girls love sexy looking cars, and this, I believe, is one of the sexiest. Under the hood is the Aston Martin DB9's 6.0-liter 470 horsepower V12 engine. It has a 0 to 60 time of 4.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 188 MPH. But, speed isn't the true essence of this car; it's the luxury. In the interior you'll find high-end leather seats, a rear DVD entertainment system, a very stylish center console than can finished in walnut, wood, Carbon Fiber, or Aluminum, Bang & Olufsen sound system, and a lot more. What will annoy you though is the price: just a smudge under $200,000. That's kind of expensive compared to the Panamera Turbo's $100,000 price tag. With this car, you will see that luxury is truly expensive. But, hey! Girls like expensive stuff.
