Style and Power do Mix

2012 Brabus CLS
Brabus finally got their hands on the sleek and stylish Mercedes-Benz CLS-class. As you can see, even when implying science and power, Brabus still make their silver arrows look nice, and this is no exception. Brabus will treat your CLS well with a new bodykit featuring new LED Daytime Running Lights, custom 20-inch rims, and eloquent leather interior stitching. Now, as for power, this is where Brabus excels. If you live in Europe and have the CLS250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, Brabus will add their ECO PowerXtra D4 Performance kit adding 31 horsepower to the engine, which will also increase torque to 413 lb.-ft. If you have the CLS350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, Brabus will add their ECO PowerXtra DS6 plug-and-play auxiliary control unit, which can be installed in less than 45 minutes. This will increase power in sport mode from 261 to 313 horsepower and torque from 457 to 509 lb.-ft. 0 to 60 will be achieved in just 5.9 seconds on its way to a limited top speed of 155 MPH. So, with this car, you'll be able to look good, go fast, and save gas. That should be good. Check this car out at Geneva next week.

Crickey it's the Rozzers!

Richard as a Baddie in a Rolls-Royce Ghost
Top Gear UK Fans rejoice! Another thrilling episode of Top Gear UK is on tonight at 9 p.m. on BBC America. This time, the guys head to Albania to test out three super-expensive luxury sedans: the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG, the Rolls-Royce Ghost, and the Bentley Mulsanne, well when I say the Bentley Mulsanne, I mean a Yugo. You'll see what I'm taking about when you watch it tonight. Then the guys discuss Ferrari's newest creation, the Ferrari FF, which they think looks absolutely fantastic because it brings back the great design that was the shooting brake. Then, Clarkson tests out three high-performance hatchbacks: the Ford Focus RS500, the Cosworth Impreza STI CS400, and the Volvo C30 PCP Polestar, all of which you can't even own. Then, British talk show host Jonathan Ross comes back to Top Gear to set a lap in the Kia Cee'D. It should be one exciting episode. Tune in tonight to see all of the action.

Auction Up!

2012 Ferrari FF
The first models of 4 exclusive cars will be up for auction at the Boca Raton Concours d' Elegance in Florida. The first of these cars is the 2012 Ferrari FF, Ferrari's first all-wheel drive shooting brake grand tourer. A 6.3-liter 651 horsepower V12 is under the hood of this car. 0 to 60 is done in just 3.7 seconds on its way to a top speed of 208 MPH. It would be pretty cool if you won that.

Next up is the all new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. The car has ditched the artistic gullwing doors and a hardtop roof to make driving more pleasurable. What it hasn't ditched though was its 6.2-liter 563 horsepower V8 engine, the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 engine in the world. We've been waiting for this car to come out for a while.

2012 Audi R8 GT
Next up, for the hardcore drivers, is the Audi R8 GT. Effectively, this is the "Superleggera" version of Audi's successful supercar. The 5.2-liter FSI V10 engine now produces 560 horsepower. The body itself is 100 kg lighter than the standard V10 model. Because of this, 0 to 60 is done in 3.6 seconds with a top speed of 200 MPH. Only 333 will be made with just 90 coming here. Wouldn't it be great if you got the first of the 90?

2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG
Last, but certainly not least, Mercedes will be auctioning off a limited edition CLS63 AMG. No word on what special power the car will have but only 30 will be made. So, those are the cars. If you have a big wallet and are in the Florida area, you might want to get in on this.

Sick with Two Less Doors (Part 2)

2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe
Aww yes! The two-door sportster from Mercedes-Benz has returned looking sexier than ever. Prepared to set foot in the Geneva Motor Show area, this is the new C-Class Coupe. It keeps all the sick stuff that you love about the regular sedan including its powerful engine, keen weight distribution, and just the sheer driving passion. Normally, C-Class sedans were for the kind of businessmen who hated being bored typing continuously in their office for 7 hours a day and just wanted have fun in a business-type 4-door saloon. Now that it's taken away its rear doors, this coupe is for the bloke who just wants an edge. He probably does business, but he's hardcore after work. Anyway, the new baby coupe comes with two new engines: a new 1.8-liter turbo-4 with 201 horsepower and an improved 3.5-liter V6 with 304 horsepower. This should worry those in BMW 3-series coupes and Audi A5s. Prices have not been announced yet, but they will be in the coming weeks. I honestly don't care what the price is. This car is sick times 2.

Stop in the name of Fashion

2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG Fashion Police Cruiser
Fashion copy-cats! Style perpetrators! Are you listening? There's a new car on the force and it's ready to catch you guys red-handed. In honor of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, this new CLS63 AMG Patrol Car was given to the NYFP (New York Fashion Police). It really combines the two essential things about the CLS: power and style. As for power, well, it has the 5.5-liter Twin-turbocharged 563 horsepower V8 engine which means the Fashion Force can get to the scene of a fashion crime in mere seconds. As for style, well, just look at it. For a coupe with 4-doors, it is, ideally, drop-dead gorgeous, which is a good thing for the Fashion Police. That way, when it's coming, people will really want to turn their heads. So, if you're in New York now, be on the lookout for this Fashion Force car cruising about until next Monday. Hopefully you aren't caught on the wrong side of the fashion law.

Some Welcoming Party

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster (Rendering)
Apparently, all of the popular Mercedes-Benz cars have magically rolled their way to Stuttgart, Germany to welcome four new Silver Arrows to the family of Mercedes-Benz. Hopefully mine made it back home before I get up tomorrow. One of the newcomers was this SLS AMG Roadster. This is just a rendering. The real thing was unveiled in this Super Bowl commercial. The other three you've probably seen. Check out the commercial below.

Mercedes' Birthday Present

2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK Roadster
A couple days ago, Mercedes-Benz celebrated its 125th birthday. As a birthday present, today, the company officially pulled back the covers of the all new SLK Roadster at the museum in Stuttgart, Germany. As you can see, this is a very good looking car, due to the fact the most of the design was taken from the SLS AMG. When it comes out this summer, you'll have a choice of two models: the SLK350 with a 3.5-liter 302 horsepower V6 engine, or the SLK250 with a 1.8-liter 201 horsepower turbo-4 engine, but that one will come at a later time. One of the biggest accomplishments with this car is the all new Magic Sky Control System in which changes the color of the clear glass roof when you're driving along. Prices have not been announced yet, but they might be at Geneva, in which the car will make its global debut.

UK vs. Australia

Top Gear UK Hosts
Another episode of Top Gear UK has been uploaded by an anonymous user on YouTube. This episode features Top Gear UK and Top Gear Australia going head to head in a game of bests. If you have watched Top Gear Australia, most of the faces you will see are pretty familiar. Then Jeremy takes the 2011 Ferrari 599 GTO for a spin summarizing that it is a complete animal. Boris Becker, former Tennis World Champion, is the star in the reasonably priced, who is a serious fan of the Silver Arrow (Mercedes-Benz). A very interesting fact about him: he bought a very exclusive Porsche 959 for about €150,000 at the age of, get this, 19!

1987 Porsche 959
How on earth was he able to buy that? Another interesting fact: throughout the years that he's owned that Porsche, he never crashed it. He managed to get it over 200 MPH on a highway, but he never smashed it up. He is a serious driver. He set a time of 1:45.9. That's faster than Peter Jones's time on a dry lap, all thanks to new STIG. Anyway, enough summaries. Just watch the show to see what happened.
