2012 Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG |
The Mercedes CLS was the first ever 4-door coupe ever produced. Ever since then, more exotic companies had a go at the four door coupe theme. Now, the CLS is back and its flexing its muscle. This is the all new CLS 63 AMG. Under the hood is Mercedes' all new 5.5 liter Twin-Turbocharged 518 horsepower V8 engine. If that doesn't sound like much to you, you can get an optional AMG Performance Package which spools the turbos up to 18.8 psi giving you 550 horsepower. The standard 518 horsepower engine gets from 0 to 60 MPH in 4.4 seconds with a limited top speed of 155 MPH. The AMG Performance Package with the increased horsepower has a 0 to 60 time of 4.3 seconds and also raises the speed limiter from 155 to 186 MPH. Whatever package you choose, you'll still get that maniacal rumble from the big V8 engine. The CLS 63 AMG features the standard AMG equipment including the AMG bodykit with front bumper LED lights, AMG sport mode technology, AMG interior styling, AMG style pedals, and AMG rear spoiler. The CLS, will include its own equipment with the revolutionary 73 LED lights placed all over the car. Prices have not been announced for this car, but it's gonna be expensive.
